Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Hardened Edition)

Alongside themed events, such as paintball on a recreation of MW2′s Scrapyard, delegates of COD: XP are being exposed to early information regarding Activision and Infinity Ward’s upcoming Call of Duty title: Modern Warfare 3.

Yesterday I posted the MW3 multiplayer preview. Since then, Activision and Infinity Ward have released additional information regarding  Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Hardened Edition).

To quote the Call of Duty website:

Boasting multiplayer map packs, memberships, in-game unlockables, and a one-of-a-kind book bound by Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare®’s untold secrets, the “Hardened Edition” is the definitive experience for the Call of Duty® fan.

COD: MW3 (Hardened Edition) – Value for Money?

At the time of writing, I have never purchased anything over and above the normal version of a game as the additional content is rarely relevant to my gaming experience.

However, the Hardened Edition of Modern Warfare 3 could change that as it offers better value for money than the regular game, assuming you will download all of the map packs.

On the basis I’ve already pre-ordered MW3, I’m going to drop Amazon an e-mail and enquire about the possibility of upgrading.

    If you pre order from game in-store, opens at 12pm, ordering the game offline does not allow you to get it a day early, as some people might think.
    Also pre ordering from a shop you get a mw3 double sided poster (very cool by the way) and a SECRET intel pack at launch, to my knowledge will be like the Black Ops intel pack, includes avatar outfits, film cell etc.
    So pre ordering from the shop is better value for money and the 2 hour que is worth it. Of course!

      You’re right about GAME.

      Last year I ordered in store assuming I could stroll up at midnight on release day and collect my copy. Instead, I found myself waiting in the pouring rain for approximately 2 hours along with a load of other people who had assumed the same.

      This year I’ve pre-ordered my copy from Amazon and I suspect this will be beneficial for a number of reasons.

      Aside from the fact I won’t need to attend a store, there’ s a chance it’ll turn up a day early.

    My mate got an email saying it was the last chance to order MW3 Hardened Edition.

    Neither of us have ordered yet cos we’re broke lol. Do you know if you can still get a copy?
