I was really surprised to learn that one of my old clients still has student houses available for the September 2013 to July 2014 academic year. If you landed on this post after a Google search then this post is working as intended.

Location wise, these student properties are scattered around the centre of Leamington Spa, all of which in easy reach of the nearest University bus stop. In my day this was called the X1 but I think it is know known as the Unirider. In any case, you’re not going to be walking for miles to catch the bus.

From memory, all bar two of his 60 rooms to rent have double beds, many of which have en-suite bathrooms or built in wash basins. ¬†Properties are frequently treated to light refurbishment and, in my opinion, far and away exceed the standard you would expect from student accommodation. All of the required certification is carried out, be that for energy efficiency, electrical or gas safety – as is required for “HIMO” properties.

Availability of student accommodation: 2013 – 2014 academic year

At the time of posting, the following properties are available:

4 Earl Street: a modern 4 double bedroom student dwelling in a quiet street in North Leamington Spa, finished to the highest quality;

99 Clapham Terrace:  a recently refurbished 4 double bedroom student house with kitchen/diner and separate lounge;

9 The Seekings: a large detached student residence, with driveway suitable for 4 cars, garage and large garden, plus 4 double bedrooms and one with “hidden” en-suite that is accessible via a built in wardrobe; and

25 Radford Road: an extremely spacious 9 bedroom student property set over 4 floors, boasting 8 double beds / 1 single, plus 3 bathrooms and an additional w/c, as well as off-street parking for up to 4 cars.

  1. Please can you add to your blog – we have had people calling up looking for immediate occupancy. We only have 1 double room available right away, sharing with interns for Jaguar Land Rover. Unfortunately we cannot offer group accommodation until August 2013 at the earliest, preferably September as this gives us time to clean and / or renovate where necessary.   2. All rooms are now let for the 2013 – 2014 academic year. JS Property will be taking bookings for the following year, spanning September 2014 until July 2015, from the start of December this year.
