I was pleasantly surprised to receive an e-mail from Accountingdegree.com informing me my blog had found its way into a feature on blogs for business students.

However, this has brought to my attention the purpose of Adam Arnold – The Smarter CEO isn’t very clear. AccountingDegree.com say that you can “use this blog to learn how to use the web more effectively to run a business” which is partly true, but it isn’t really why I started the blog in the first place.

In a nutshell, this is intended to be a diary of events from 2005, when I incorporated the Smarter Group of companies and, more importantly, began trading via Smarter Housing Limited. The entries are a first hand account of my ventures in the world of business and, whether I succeed or fail, I hope my experiences will assist others in their own efforts. As I am involved with online business to some degree, some of the entries may – as AccountingDegree.com picked up on – be directed at improving performance for online businesses.

In a few days I’ll begin tinkering with the site layout, shift the “About Adam Arnold” page and replace it with  “About Adam Arnold – The Smarter CEO“. The former has now done its job in terms of the Google SERPS but it seems a waste to remove the page entirely.
